method 1: double boiler

Step 1: Fill a pot that is large enough to fit the jar about a 1/4 of the way with water.

Step 2: Place pot with the jar on the stove top and turn on medium heat.

Step 3: Prepare a piece of foil or wax warmer bowl to pour excess wax into.

Step 4: Wait until wax is completely melted, this should take approximately 9.5 minutes.
(Please utilize an oven mitt to remove the jar from pot and pour excess wax into whichever
container you chose in Step 3.)

Step 5: Remove the rest of the wick and it’s base. 

Step 6: Clean jar out with dish soap and water, let dry, + re-use!

method 2: oven

Step 1: Preheat oven to 275°.

Step 2: Place jar upside down on a piece of foil.

Step 3: Fold edges of foil up to avoid wax spilling in your oven.

Step 4: Place jar on foil in oven and wait until wax is completed melted, this should take approximately 2.5 minutes.

Step 5: Remove jar from oven. Please utilize an oven mitt to remove the jar from the oven and place it on a paper towel.

Step 6: Dispose of the rest of the wick, it’s base, and foil. 

Step 7: Clean jar out with dish soap and water, let dry, + re-use!
